I have gambled on countless of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a number of days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40
Wager $40
Take $40 paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 bet
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
