I have gambled on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the bet back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the runs you see gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10

Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet

Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 bet

Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Bet 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!

It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
