I have enjoyed countless of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of money at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I play basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 30 mins using this tactic! And a number of days ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can give away a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager

Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $40

Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager

If you left at this instance you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
