I have played millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have bet on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at 21. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the runs you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the initial five dollar wager

Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20

Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the first 20 dollar bet

Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet

Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
